Here's a reason why I gave the highest possible rating: I came to chicago for a visit from minnesota for a reason other than buying a used car primarily, but came across a 07 Accord I couldn't pass up. First of all, you would never run into a more customer-first sales man than Marty Steadman, no sales pressure from him. Not only was Marty Steadman professional and courteous, but the treatment I received as a customer from Marty was like no other salesman. First, he listens what I had to say and he showed his willingness and eagerness to work for me. Look for Marty Steadman when you're in chicago area for a vehicle purchase and he would go above and beyond to make it happen for you. I am very surprised by the absence of his name not listed here for reviews, very surprised. See for yourself and hopefully you'll have the same used car purchase experience like I had today, 5/21/13. Also props to Tony Taylor and Tony Basich who helped this transaction possible(by coming down on price I could find nowhere else). P.S. Here were fees Fletcher Jones Honda charged me(no dealer or prep fee): vehicle tax(6.5%)+registration/license(479)+documentation/filing(160), that's it!

Me and my wife were so excited getting our first car but we are pretty scared that we might be taken advantage of and end up getting ripped off because we don't know anything bout cars. When we arrived at FJ we were pretty nervous and anxious, we looked for Leon. As soon as he greeted us we felt better and at ease. He really knows the products and had answers to the few questions that we had. He's not like other car salesmen who were to pushy and even rushing up to close the deal, Leon is easy to work with and even gave us extra time to check the car to make sure that we made the right choice. We are so happy leaving the dealership with a CPO Honda Civic 2011. We are very grateful that we met Leon Smith! He is awesome. Highly recommend Leon if you plan to visit FJHonda. 5/5 for him. When I bought the car, I really think Lisa is good and really think that I should give her a five star for her service. She is friendly and never give you much pressure to make decision. However, After I bought the car, it became to hard to contact her again and the unsolved issues can not be solved again. I know the unsolved sale tax and title issues are not related to Lisa, but other person in the team, however, there is still other things she did not deal them professionally. For example, she said to send me another key two days later after I bought the new car, but after half a month I did not get it. I called and email to her many time. Eventually, after I got the key without any explanation, another thing happened: the key can not open the car. At that time, I was new to a new place, know nobody, and I had a appointment with the doctor, however, I can not open the car!!! If it is emergency circumstances or even it is job interview, what I should do? I should lost a lot. After tens of callings, Lisa said I should find a dealership to programing the key and it will be free. There is no Honda deanship nearly, so I drove a long way to get one. However, the programing fee will be almost one hundred dollars! Then I can not contact Lisa again. I called again and again, no answer. I leaved messages many times, no calling back. Till now, after one and half month, I am still have to call them again and again without answer and the unsolved issues are still there. terrible experience!

Working with Leon Smith and the Fletcher Jones Honda staff was such a great experience. I was extremely nervous about purchasing a car and I honestly didn?t think it was going to happen. I just happened to walk in to take a look and the next thing you know I bought a brand new car that I?m in LOVE with! Working with Leon was such a relief! He made sure this whole car shopping experience was stress free and also fun. Leon knew exactly what I was looking for but also new the right necessities as far as what I really needed. In a way I felt like I was car shopping with my father. I knew he was looking out for my safety and my well- being. I recommend working with Leon Smith and their amazing staff! As my visit to FJHonda on Saturday morning was my first time buying a car, I was a bit nervous and terrified that I would make a bad deal and/or be hassled by an unscrupulous car dealer--yet this was not the case. Although I entered feeling uneasy, my anxiety quickly ebbed away as I was introduced to Mr. Leon Smith & began talking to him about my wants & needs. There are not enough kind words that I can say about this man! He was very thoughtful and patient with me from start to finish. I was sincerely relaxed and comforted by not only his demeanor, but also by his sincere nature and resolve to secure me a fair & realistic deal. He even convinced me to settle with a cheaper car that was more practical/sensible for a first-time buyer, something I had not expected at a dealership! Even when my first choice was bought before me at the last minute, Leon gave me an even better deal on a nicer car that I had thought was beyond my limits. Leon was straightforward, honest, and relaxed, which in turn, made me feel reassured and at ease about making a $20,000 commitment. Not only did he listen to my concerns and fears, but he understood where I was coming from. I worked with Leon Smith on a leasing a new HONDA ACCORD and the entire experience was excellent from beginning to end.
